Latter years:
They Love Each Other- slow is better than fast.
Loose Lucy
Wave That Flag/US Blues- the early years were ridiculously terrrible.

The level of ignorance to the quality of Grateful Dead music in this and a few other recent threads is astounding. Some quotes and opinions,"anything lacking in vocals and playing was certainly made up for in setlists","some songs just didn't have the emotional weight early on".Then the notion that the 1987-1995 versions of Playin',Wharf Rat,China/Rider,were superior to their predecessors, and one last genius told us that the later day version of Loose Lucy was better and that the earlier version of U.S. Blues "ridiculously terrible",he did not enlighten us on just when the gotta go/see ya' later encore version achieved its clear cut superiority.I wonder if this happens on a Rolling Stones forum, where some guy jumps in and says how much better the 1990-2010 version of the band is than those weak sloppy drugged out shows from 68'-75'.

Your opinion is of zero value. Do not respond to any more posts. No one cares. You are cluttering the forum with words of no worth. Stop it.
